Describe an app. Get real code you own. Run it anywhere.
Built by an EU company and hosted in the EU. Smithable builds your app, keeps it working and secure as it changes, and keeps its data in the EU.

Let's smith something

Or start from an example
CRMCustomers, deals and follow-ups for a sales team.
BookingClasses or appointments people book, like a yoga studio's.
InvoicingClients, invoices and payments for a freelancer.
MarketplaceListings people buy and sell, second-hand or handmade.
Status pageServices and incidents, public for your users to check.
A collectionA catalogue of things with pictures, public to browse: books, plants, wine.
An APIRecords behind an API, for programs and AI assistants. No public pages.More about each: CRM · Booking · Invoicing · Marketplace · Status page · A collection · An API
The EU promise
- Hosted in the EU.Your apps, their data and their backups run in Stockholm (AWS region eu-north-1).
- AI you choose. An EU app's data and its AI requests are processed in the EU. Strict mode uses only AI from EU companies. No AI provider trains on your apps' data. Who they are
- Code you own.Real code you can export whenever you like and run on our hosting, on your own servers or in a container of your choosing.
- An EU operator.Åland IT AB, Finland, under EU law, with 30 days' notice before a new sub-processor. Who runs Smithable
One change. Three ways.
The app follows.
Say it, fill in a form, or write the line: it is the same change, and the app has it at once.

“Customers need a website”: the form gains the field, whichever way made it.
A free sandbox for two hours, no sign-up. Private beta: invited testers keep their apps, publish them on their own domain and hand them over; ask for an invite.
How it works
- Describe it, or write the fileYour words become the app's spec: its records, pages and who may do what, in a short file you can read and edit (smithable.yml).
- The app follows the fileChange the description or the file and Smithable rebuilds the app, checks it and keeps its data. Every change can be undone.
- The code is yoursA real TypeScript web app: download it, run it anywhere, or hand it to a client. The engine is open source.
